Work Study

The St. Ambrose University Work Study Program is an excellent opportunity to gain work experience while earning a little extra money.

There are limited jobs on campus, so a few criteria must be met in order to qualify for a federal work study award.

  • The Central Processor must have received your FAFSA by March 15.
  • The Expected Family Contribution (EFC) listed on your FAFSA must not exceed $10,000.

If you meet those criteria, you will be awarded a work study position. If a work study award appears on your award letter, then you can go to the Career Center to start the application process.

If you did not meet these criteria and the work study award does not appear on your award letter, that's okay. It doesn't mean you can't get a job on campus. There are many positions for temporary student employees. Please contact the Career Center at 563/333-6339 for more information.
