Advice for incoming freshman
Think about getting involved in one of our learning communities! These are offered only to First Year students and allow you to take a cluster of courses with a group of peers with similar interests. The learning community also includes two general education courses and the opportunity to get introduced to your major. If you aren't sure what to major in there are learning communities that also focus on current events on campus and around the world.
While not specifically on campus, my favorite spot is the Ambrose Dome, also known as "the bubble!" It's used for workouts or practices including softball, baseball, football, women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, track and field, and golf. Softball tournaments are scheduled for February and March, and the dome can accommodate field events such as pole vault, high jump and long jump. The Dome is also used for intramural and club sports!
