What I look for

I look at each student's experience and personal qualities that have brought them this far. Test scores and grades aren't the only things that make up a great student; they should also have the ambition to do great things inside and outside of the classroom.

She is simply the "Best "counselor that you will work with! Haley Best worked with her family business helping elderly clients. She is kind, soft spoken and caring. Her parents have made sure that she has a great work ethic and she will not let you select a college without all of your questions answered. You and your family are my most important focus, and selecting a college is one of the most important decisions you can make!

Graduating from a class of 27 people from a small town in Iowa, she knows that this can be a scary decision, but with a sweetheart like Haley you will have someone to guide you through the college selection process and make sure that you feel at home.

What I like most about my job

I love meeting and building relationships with prospective Bees and their families as I assist them through the application, housing, financial aid, and orientation process. Answering any questions they may have, easing the scary process of coming to college, or simply being a friendly face is why I am here!

My Hobbies

I love spending time with friends and family, shopping, and running. I also enjoy playing the piano.

Connection to SAU

I visited the Quad Cities a lot growing up and always loved walking around on campus. There is this immediate sense of community throughout the campus which I fell in love with.
