Service

students with family
Students helped a neighbor with yard work during Bee the Difference Day.

Mahatma Gandhi once said "the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." And at Ambrose, we believe that with every fiber of our being. That's why we've committed an entire department to service, allowing us to reinforce and implement our mission while encouraging Ambrosians to actively engage in service now, and for the rest of their lives.

Service learning at Ambrose provides students with service opportunities at the local, national, and international level. Our students have built homes in the Quad Cities through Habitat for Humanity, revitalized neighborhoods in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and traveled as far as India to work in remote villages.
