Nursing

Nursing Department

The message is clear: The national demand for nurses in all areas is surpassing the number of professionals available. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that by the year 2018, there will be a need for 581,500 more nurses in the workforce than will be available.

Continuing the university's tradition of responding to the needs of the Quad City community and beyond, the St. Ambrose Nursing Department is pleased to offer an undergraduate program of study for a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) and a master of science in nursing administration (MSN).
