Password Reset How-To

Beginning in January 2018, the IT department has a new password management system.

This password manager has new features such as linking your email and network IDs, text alerts, and resets – all available without calling the IT department. It is also available via mobile: iOS – Search for Access Manager by Logon Box; Android – Search for Nervepoint Access Manager.

If you need help remembering passwords, there are several free and secure password management apps such as Keypass, Dashlane, or LastPass; your browser may also have a secure password management feature.

Click below for directions to set up your profile and/or reset your password.

Instructions to Create a Password Management Account
  1. Go to
  2. Choose "My Account." Enter your SAU ID and password.
  3. Enter your phone number and security questions. The questions will help you login if you need to reset your password in the future. IT staff also will require you to answer those questions if you need help over the phone.
  4. Choose Finish. You will see a progress window.
  5. Good job! Your Access Manager account has been set up.
