Visit campus! We have a variety of visit options this spring so you and your family can learn more about being Ambrosian.

File your FAFSA. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is now available and our code is 001889. Your admissions counselor will reach out to your family when your financial aid award is complete to answer any questions.

Complete your First-Year Housing Contract.

Commit to St. Ambrose University.

Final steps to becoming a bee

Fill out your health form and submit it to the Health Services office.

Accept or decline student loans.

Send St. Ambrose University your final high school transcripts.


Yes! I plan to transfer SAU.

Complete your Transfer Housing Contract and submit your deposit. If you plan to live on campus, getting your first-choice in housing depends on the date you receive your deposit. (For Fall entry, submit your deposit beginning Feb. 1. For Spring entry, submit beginning Oct. 1.)

File your FAFSA. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid, it becomes available October 1 each year. The federal school code for St. Ambrose is 001889.

Request an advising appointment. If you're not attending an orientation, plan to come to campus to register for classes  and take care of final details before the semester begins.

Get a parking permit (if you plan to park a vehicle on campus). If you plan to enter during the fall semester, you may purchase your permit online on a first come, first served basis beginning in late July.

Transfer Orientation for Fall students will be in July and August. Orientation for Spring students will be in December.
