From all
my years at St. Ambrose, I'll never forget: Walking out
of a bar at 6:30 am only to run into Fr. Strub on his
morning walk. But mostly, nights in old East Hall (now
Rohlman) talking to Charley Luber, Dan Temborious, Don "the
Duke" Schneider and a cast of other characters
Favorite SAU class: Fr. Strub--Old Testament;
Freshmen English with Sister Mary Bradley--she gave me
confidence
Favorite food:
Just about any Cajun

What's in my
CD player: Beatles, Fleetwood Mac

Famous person (living or dead) I'd most like to meet:
Roberto Clemente
If I had all
the time in the world, I'd spend it: Helping
my kids with anything they need

gets on my nerves is when: the phone rings at 6

change one thing, I would: Gave spent more time with my
father before he died.

three kids and we probably haven't hit the peak yet.

has had the greatest influence on me: Harry Kilper,
Jr.--former boss and still friend of mine
I wish I knew how to: fly--I still want to get my
private pilots license.
Personal motto or favorite quote: There are
alternatives to everything.
Advice to St. Ambrose freshmen:
What you learn outside
the classroom is of equal importance to what you learn
inside. Or at least tell your parents that when you get
grades after first semester.
