From all my years at St. Ambrose, I'll never forget: Walking out of a bar at 6:30 am only to run into Fr. Strub on his morning walk. But mostly, nights in old East Hall (now Rohlman) talking to Charley Luber, Dan Temborious, Don "the Duke" Schneider and a cast of other characters
Favorite SAU class: Fr. Strub--Old Testament; Freshmen English with Sister Mary Bradley--she gave me confidence

Advice to St. Ambrose freshmen: What you learn outside the classroom is of equal importance to what you learn inside. Or at least tell your parents that when you get grades after first semester.
