Advice to St. Ambrose freshmen: Have
fun...Take in all of the little things that seem
insignificant. Say hello to as many people as possible. Join
a club/organization and try to stick with it. Don't get
pissed off at the lunch people, they're trying their best to
get you the food...they're people too. Get to know as many
people as possible. Talk to your teachers, get to know
them...they really are there to help you. Cheer for the
athletic teams...all of them...they need the support. Don't
get pissed at the RA's/CA's for doing their job, accept it
and move on. Use the resources that the campus has for you;
it'll save you $$$. Most of all, and it is the most
important, HAVE FUN.
