Advice to St. Ambrose freshmen: Always
step back from your studies and think about the big picture.
Sometimes it helps to reflect upon what you are doing.
Remember, you are in control of your destiny. Do not get so
deep into your studies that you miss everything that goes on
around you. Work hard, seek to understand what you are being
taught, and most of all develop lifelong friendships.
