Meet friends and enjoy complimentary appetizers and beer.  This event has become a favorite way alumni kick off Homecoming weekend at a familiar watering hole.

23rd Annual Killer Bee - Sept. 22, 8 a.m. for 5K and 9 a.m. for Bumble Rumble
St. Ambrose campus
Hit the road with fellow bees in this fun race near campus.

Campus Tours - Sept. 22, 9:30 and 10 a.m.
Meet outside the Rogalski Center (east entrance)
Student-led campus walking tours lasting approximately 1 hour with stops at the Chapel and Wellness and Rec. Center.

Basement to Attic Tour - Ambrose Hall - Sept. 22 at 9:30 a.m.
Meet outside the Rogalski Center (east entrance)
Take part in an in-depth tour of Ambrose Hall with the St. Ambrose Director of Physical Plant Jim Hannon '82.  Learn about the building's history and renovations.  Revisit your time as a student by climbing all four flights of stairs to the top (and then back down)!

SAU Archives Open House - Sept. 22, 10 a.m. - noon
St. Ambrose Library, 1st floor
Explore photos, yearbooks, newspapers, and memorabilia from through St. Ambrose's history.  If you'd like to donate your SAU items, our Archivist will be on hand to assist.  Light refreshments served.

Taste of Ambrose - Sept. 22, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
St. Ambrose campus, in front of Rogalski Center
The party before the game!  Come see the Barney the Bee and members of our spirit squad.  Enjoy the face painter, caricature artist, bounce houses, photo booth, and giveaway game.  Grab some food (and even a drink) before heading to the first home football game of the season!  It's a family-friendly event that attracts alumni from all reunion years. 

Fighting Bee Football - Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. (pre-game show starts at 12:40 p.m.)
Brady Street Stadium
Be a part of history as SAU school spirit takes center stage.  The new marching band will take the field and debut their uniforms.  See the amazing pre-game and halftime shows created by our marching band, cheerleaders, and dance team.  And cheer the Bees on to victory!  Tickets available for purchase at the stadium.

Homecoming Mass - Sept. 23 at 10:30 a.m.
Christ the King Chapel
Celebrate Mass on campus once again.  Students, alumni, and parents come together to end Homecoming weekend in our campus chapel.

McMullen Legacy Circle Brunch - Sept. 23, 11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
The Outing Club
By special invitation only.  A brunch celebrating those whove made provisions for St. Ambrose in their estate plans.  Class of 1968 invited as this year's special guests.

The SAU Bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 22. They'll open once again on Sunday, Sept. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. It's a great time to get some new Fighting Bee items!

Homecoming FAQ

Bookstore Hours

During Homecoming, the bookstore will be open Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to noon.  The bookstore is located in the Rogalski Center.
