Ambrosians. You hear it time and again—it’s the people that make St. Ambrose such a great place to learn, teach, work and support.
That’s the reason for The Ambrosian: to bring you compelling stories about St. Ambrose and Ambrosians.
Here, you'll read about Ambrosians such as Gayle Roberts who, as president and chief operating officer at the international engineering firm Stanley Consultants, is raising the glass ceiling. Shining brightly are students such as physical therapy major Becky Lawrence, whose work with NASA is helping astronauts stay fit in space. Then there's occupational therapy professors Christine Urish and Jon Turnquist, whose contributions have made them both national leaders in their field.
And if you’re reading this, it’s because you’re an important contributor to our Ambrose community. You’re an Ambrosian, too.
So we hope you’ll enjoy reading these stories as much as we enjoy telling them. With so many wonderful Ambrosians, it will be challenging figuring out how to bring as many of them to you as possible. But we think that’s the best challenge to have, don’t you?
