Mark Panno '73 was inducted to the Dr. Worthy Streator Hall of Fame in December. The award honors alumni from Streator High School who have made a difference in their community and the world.
Steve Smithers '79 is the special populations coordinator for the QC Career and Technical Education Consortium at United Township High School in East Moline, Illinois.

Mark McLaughlin '82 released his 42nd book, "Horrors & Abominations: 24 Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos," co-written with Michael Sheehan, Jr. This is McLaughlin's ninth collaboration with Sheehan, and their books have appeared in Amazon's top 100 Kindle horror story collections worldwide.
The Quad-Cities Chamber hired Mike Oberhaus '82 as vice president of finance and administration.
Scott Community College welcomed Mary Bakeris-Gullion '85 as an English instructor. Bakeris is also an adjunct instructor in the English department at St. Ambrose.
The Nineties
Gayle Roberts '91 MBA was a unanimous choice of the editors to be the Engineering News-Record Midwest's Legacy Award recipient. Roberts retired as chairwoman of the board at Muscatine, Iowa-based Stanley Consultants, concluding a 35-year career which included roles as president and CEO.
Marcy (Leydens) O'Brien '93 is executive director at Rock Island, Illinois County Children's Advocacy Center.
UnityPoint Health-Trinity added Sherri (Behr) DeVrieze '96 MCJ to the team as the community health program coordinator. She and husband Craig '16 MOL also became grandparents on Valentine's Day.
