Scholarships


The College of Business offers several scholarships! Be sure to check out the Financial Aid website for a complete listing.

The Deere scholarship
• Be a declared accounting major
• Have taken or be enrolled in at least one 300-level accounting class.
• Have not previously received the Deere Accounting Scholarship

The Derrek Drexler scholarship
• Enrolled in at least 12 hours at SAU
• Have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Majoring in accounting or Master of Accounting

Preferences for the Drexler scholarship will be given to:
• Graduates of Wahlert Catholic High School, or any Catholic high school
• Juniors and seniors
• Students involved in student activities and/or campus recreation

The Evan Gettert '02 Entrepreneurial Scholarship
• Be a student in the St. Ambrose College of Business with an interest in entrepreneurship or growing a family business
• Have at least a junior standing with a 3.0 GPA

The George J. Till Accounting Scholarship
• Open to full-time undergraduate accounting students and MAcc students
• Recipient must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5
• Scholarship is based on need and varies from $500 to $4,000 per year; renewable for up to 4 years

The Lowell N. Johnson Endowed Scholarship
• Be a student majoring in business or with a business concentration
• Maintain a 3.0 GPA
• Be a resident of the Quad Cities

The Shapley Accounting Scholarship
• Be a declared accounting major

The Van de Voorde Accounting Scholarship
• Be a declared accounting major
• Have financial need

The Wahl Accounting Scholarship
• Be a declared accounting major
• Be starting his/her senior year in the fall

Students who adhere to the plan terms are guaranteed to graduate on time—in four years or less. If any coursework remains after four years, the university will waive tuition and fees for that coursework.
