The award-winning KALA talk show, "Relevant or Irrelevant" was featured in a recent Quad-City Times article. In its tenth year, the show is hosted by local history teachers and covers a wide range of topics in its 30-minute program. (A longer version is available online.) David Baker '88, KALA operations manager, says that more than 300 of the programs have been produced over the past decade.
Ken Colwell '73 was a featured guest interview in the February 1 edition of Radio World Magazine. The article discussed his piece on "Trends in Transmitter Design" which was published recently by Radio World as an e-book.
Clay Sander '92, Dave Bonde '93, Kathy (Mensik) Sander '92, and Mark Allen '92 brought their "Comedy Thingy: All You Care to Eat" podcast back to the Black Box Theatre in Moline March 9. They recorded a few more episodes of their scripted comedy (although their improv chops are given a chance to surface) before a live audience.
Mary (Norris) Mozingo '03 joined two of her SAU friends (Kristin Kelly Ryan and Lisa Kuckler Malone) for a trip to New York City recently. They all got some air time on NBC's Today Show... giving a shout out to "St. Ambrose University" in the process.
Luke Maiers '17 is now a content licensing specialist at McGraw-Hill Education.
Quetzal Morin '18 is with premiere club services with the Chicago Cubs baseball team. She had been working event operations for the organization.
