Fantastical Musical "Big Fish" Starts the Season

Giants are singing, farmers are stomping, and witches are brewing in preparation for St. Ambrose's first main-stage production.

Big Fish is a musical that explores the relationship of a son, Will, and his father, Edward. As Edward becomes terminally ill, Will struggles to find truth within the fantastical stories of his father's past. This play travels from a swamp to a circus to a cave and more while the characters go on the adventure of a lifetime.

SAU held auditions for the musical on August 22 and 23 in Allaert Auditorium. Students prepared their best for guest director Jay Edelnant, guest music director Saul Nache, and guest choreographer Andrea Moore.
