At spring commencement, President Edward Rogalski told this year's graduates: "You are a different person than the one who entered St. Ambrose. You've grown and changed, graduates, and St. Ambrose has changed and grown because of you. 

"Whether we gather under a canopy of leaves or a roof of rafters, you are making history today. From the moment each of you stepped onto the campus, you not only became a part of St. Ambrose's history, you took part in shaping it." 

And so, may God speed and guide you as you begin your new lives. Graduates, welcome to the Ambrose alumni family. Congratulations and all the best in your future endeavors.
