St. Ambrose Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice Grant Tietjen, Ph.D., was recently featured in an NPR article.

In 2016, Tietjen chaired a session at the American Society of Criminology annual conference that featured Madhumita Pandey. She had interviewed 122 convicted rapists about their actions, and at the conference reported on the different ways the men excused and justified their crimes, according to the NPR article.

Tietjen noted the deep significance of Pandey's research and its value to criminologists and other professionals who work with sex offenders.
