Health Career Adventure Camp

St. Ambrose University Health Careers Adventure summer camp is for students entering 7th and 8th grades and offers participants the opportunity to experience firsthand the challenges, opportunities and rewards of health professions through hands-on learning by sessions provided by faculty and practicing clinicians. Campers will be supervised by faculty and students currently enrolled in the health sciences educational programs and will have the opportunity to explore potential healthcare related skill sets through thought provoking interdisciplinary activities.  Students will gain exposure to a variety of professions including, but not limited to exercise science, athletic training, dental hygiene/dentristy, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant, social work, speech-language pathology, and surgical tech.

Students who participate in the free or reduced lunch program are eligible to attend camp with the assistance of a scholarship. A limited number of scholarships are available, so apply soon!

Camp Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
9:30am-4:00pm-Campers can be dropped off as early as 9:00am and picked up as late as 4:30pm

Friday
9:30am-1:00pm-Campers can be dropped off as early at 9:00am and will need to be picked up by 1:30pm.

Refund Policy: Program fees are refundable, minus a $25 processing fee, up to 5:00pm, June 30, 2023.

Camp fees are $250 and include a camp t-shirt, team bag, daily snacks, lunch and transportation to and from learning experiences.
