Sister Joan Lescinski will be inaugurated Oct. 5

Welcome to the inauguration of St. Ambrose University's 13th president, Sister Joan Lescinski, CSJ, PhD. Thank you for helping us to share this very special day with our Quad Cities community.

Friday, October 5, 2007

10 a.m. - Inauguration Liturgy
Christ the King Chapel
Parking is available in the Rogalski Center lots 5 and 6 at the corner of Lombard and Ripley streets, one block west of Harrison Street, with the presentation of your press credentials to the parking attendant. Media covering the Inauguration Liturgy are asked to arrive no later than 9:40 a.m. and may proceed directly to the chapel where staff will help position you. No one will be admitted into the chapel once the liturgy has begun.

2 p.m. - Installation Ceremony
Galvin Fine Arts Center
Parking is available in either the upper or lower Galvin lots at the corner of Gaines and Lombard streets, one block north of Locust Street, or in either lot on the west side of Gaines. Media covering the Installation Ceremony are asked to arrive no later than 1:40 p.m. and to check in at the registration table in the lobby of Galvin so staff may best position you. No one will be admitted into the auditorium once the installation ceremony has begun.

The text of Sister Lescinski's inaugural address will be available after 3 p.m. on the media resources site.

3:30 p.m. - Inauguration Reception
Rogalski Center Ballroom

Due to time constraints, Sister Lescinski will not be available for stand-ups or interviews the day of the inauguration. Interviews with students, faculty, staff and board members are available. These interviews may be arranged in advance of the inauguration, or may be done at 3:30 p.m. in the Rogalski Center.
