Annie Silverman

Annie Silverman has been working with artist books and experimental relief printmaking for the past 20 years. She recently had her first solo installation of dimensional prints, wood blocks and words, "The Birds, the BEA, Synchronicity and me," at the Essex Art Center in Lawrence, Mass. Her junior instructor series was exhibited in the Boston Drawing Show in 2004. In 2005, one of her woodcut prints was chosen as a purchase prize for the Parkside Show at at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Kenosha. Her prints and unique books have been exhibited and collected nationally and internationally, most recently in Havana, Cuba. She has taught at Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, Mass., for more than 15 years; and has given workshops at the Penland School of Crafts, Bennington College, Bennington, Vt., and Pyramid Atlantic, Silver Spring, Md.
