Marcia Ciro has been involved in book arts for more than 30 years. Her artist’s books have been collected by museums and libraries nationally and internationally. She is currently teaching artists' books at the Art Institute of Boston, Mass., and at various workshops. In addition to book arts, Ciro has worked as a graphic designer for many years at Paper Trace Studio in Watertown, Mass. Her work has included college and corporate marketing materials, book design and illustration, and exhibit catalog and logo design for various museums and nonprofit groups. Ciro earned her master's degree in environmental communication from the Antioch New England Graduate School, Keene, N.H., and studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Mass; Rhode Island School of Design, Providence; and the Haystack School of Crafts, Deere Isle, Maine. She lives and works in Watertown, Mass.
