The MEA is designed to provide working teachers the core knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to become effective school administrators, to pursue the role of supervisor of special education, or to enhance their professional development and personal growth. The program, structured to be completed in two years, utilizes face-to-face classroom instruction, Blackboard Web-based support and the Iowa Communications Network, and incorporates clinical experiences and a two-semester internship. Classes may be taken at either St. Ambrose or Loras.
