There's something mesmerizing and intriguing about the aesthetics of a greenhouse or garden,” says Broadus, whose exhibit features a marketing strategy for a line of gardening products. “It’s an allure that makes me want to get one hand in the dirt and the other on a watering can.”
Taylor has used her graphic design background to put together an exhibit that serves as a commentary on interconnectedness. Creating a visual representation of her social network with a “six degrees of separations” feel, Taylor says, “I have discovered how simple the connection can be between complete strangers, and how beautiful of a knot it can tie.”
