Professor Koehler Will Be Missed

The St. Ambrose family was greatly shocked by the passing of Dr. Rick Koehler, associate professor of biology, on Friday, Jan. 14, in Moline. 

Koehler taught in the Biology Department at St. Ambrose for the past 10 years. During that time, he was also involved in many SAU theatre productions in addition to his theatrical pursuits in Galesburg, where he lived with his wife, Gwen, and four children. 

Memorials may be made to the Scholarship Fund at St. Ambrose University.

Koehler touched so many Ambrosians as a professor, colleague, actor, and great friend. He will be missed. Please keep Rick and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
