Our Political Science, Pre-law, and International Studies graduates go on to pursue a variety of careers and/or graduate school opportunities. Some of our recent graduates and their post-graduate achievements include:

  • Charlette Flanders (2018) will pursue her M.A. in Public Health in the University of Northern Colorado in fall 2018. 
  • Emma Werden (2017) is the Managing Director at The Newberg Group (a political fundraising company) as well as Campaign Manager for Rep. Tony McCombie. 
  • Beth Ann Koustas (2017) is an Election Specialist for the Illinois State Board of Elections.
  • Michael Thompson (2017) is a master's student in Political Science at the University of Illinois, Springfield. 
  • Joe Barnum (2016) is VISTA Leader/Project Coordinator at Feeding Texas.
  • Joseph Dillon (2016) attended King's College in London, England, where he earned a master's degree in security and anti-terrorism. He is currently a staff member for Congressman Erik Paulsen. 
  • Natividad Hirsch (2016) (international studies/Spanish) recently accepted an Americorps VISTA position in Des Moines, Iowa.
  • Jennifer Kislia Kincaid (2003) is a Partner at Pepping, Balk, Kincaid & Olson, Ltd. in Silvis, Illinois.
  • Chris Hollis (2016) is currently in the Ph.D. program in Political Science at the University of Iowa.
  • Robyn Kincaide (2016) is Visiting Professor at Jungwon University at Fulbright Korea. 
  • Mark Benfield (2015) is a JD candidate at the University of Illinois College of Law.
  • Kathryn Brown (2014) received her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2017 and is Legal Fellow at Illinois Health and Hospital Association in the greater Chicago area.
  • Caleb Copley (2014) received his JD from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2017 and is Assistant County Attorney at the Scott County Attorney's Office.
  • Rachel Molsberry (2014) received her JD from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2017 and is Equal Justice Works Fellow/MLP Attorney at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid. 
  • Francesca Randle (Byczynski) (2014) received her MS in Applied Behavior Analysis from Briar Cliff University in 2017 and is Board Certified Behavior Analyst at Trumpet Behavioral Health in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Jordon Williams (2013) is a JD candidate at the Northern Illinois University School of Law.

Addy Nelson ’23 was born with an entrepreneur’s spirit. With her parents owning the bowling alley in her hometown of Gregory, South Dakota—the same place she perfected her game to earn a scholarship to St. Ambrose University—she learned early to be innovative, customer-focused and business-minded.
