"We must stay consistent in following the Bee Promise. This is how we will be able to enjoy a full spring semester on campus. It will be my last, and I want to spend it with friends and get the most out of my SAU education."
Madison Epperson '20 wasn't counting on completing her St. Ambrose undergraduate career at home and online as she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting degree last spring.
Back at St. Ambrose to add a Master of Accounting degree this year, Madison has pledged to do all she can to put her final SAU semester on the positive side of the ledger.
Madison is among the 3,500-plus students and employees who returned to campus in August and agreed to keep the Bee Safe, Bee Responsible Promise. The Promise outlined behaviors and safe practices needed to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Because the concept of being responsible for those around you is a basic Ambrosian value, the vast majority of students, faculty, and staff kept their pledge. They will continue to do so when the spring semester begins in late January.
In their words on posters placed around campus, Bees proclaimed their commitment to the Bee Safe, Bee Responsible Promise.
