Project Management

Curriculum registered with the Project Management Institute® (PMI)

The St. Ambrose University Center for Professional Development is a Project Management Institute® (PMI) Registered Education Provider (REP).

Classes incorporate elements of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) developed by the Project Management Institute® (PMI).

Upon completion of the St. Ambrose Project Management Certificate, students earn the professional development units (PDUs) necessary to sit for the Project Management Professional® (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management® (CAPM) exams.

Our curriculum is designed to provide a scalable project management system for managing projects of all shapes and sizes - regardless of industry.

Our PM Certificate includes elements such as project initiation, scope, management of stakeholders, quality, resources, risk, schedule, cost, negotiations, communication, leadership and conflict.

Our PMP ® and CAPM ®  Exam Prep offers an intensive review of PMI ®  materials and knowledge areas to prepare exam takers. We also offer various topic areas throughout the year based on interest and demand. In 2020, we will focus on Agile practices to ensure alignment with the new PMI ® exams.
