SAU Color Guard

10/30/2017

Four student veterans at St. Ambrose University are the founding members of the SAU Color Guard. Their debut at this year's Homecoming football game Sept. 30 went spectacularly when the veterans presented the colors prior to the game.

The Color Guard is lead by veterans Lee Colvin, Travis Ziegler, Cecilia Nichols, and current Guardsman Jaden Ortiz.

The group will march again during the Nov. 11 Veterans Day ceremony at Davenport City Cemetery, 1625 Rockingham Rd. "The Remembered: A Veterans Recognition Celebration" will kick off at noon with the SAU Color Guard presenting the flags.
