St. Ambrose University marked the centennial of the World War I Armistice on Nov. 12 with a presentation by two historians about the war's impact on students and the role played by the Rock Island Arsenal.
Rev. George McDaniel, professor emeritus of St. Ambrose University, and George Eaton, the U.S. Army Sustainment Command historian of the Arsenal, spoke at Christ the King Chapel.
