Services
The St. Ambrose Counseling Center offers the following services to students, faculty and staff free of charge:

• Individual, marital and family counseling
• Group counseling
• Substance abuse screening and referral
• Referral to appropriate medical, psychiatric or physchological services, when needed
• Available to students for group presentations and interactions regarding areas of expressed interest

Emphasis
The emphasis in the counseling center is to attempt to address the diverse needs of the St. Ambrose community. These situations can include:

• Academic and social adjustments
• Relationships with others
• Stress management
• Family relationship issues
• Loneliness
• Marital conflicts
• Sexuality issues
• Problem habits or behaviors
• Depression
