Vida Sačić is an artist, designer, and educator. She is an Associate Professor of Art at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, where she serves as the primary coordinator of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Graphic Design.

Currently, her research is focused on investigating limits of control vs. chance in process-based work. Her work continues to explore the relationship of language to consciousness, identity, action, and memory, as well as the role of language in defining the relationships of people to each other and the land they occupy.

On Wednesday, Sept. 18, enjoy a Question & Answer beginning at 4 p.m. with Sačić, followed by a reception from 5 to 7 p.m, in the Galvin Fine Arts Center.
