We are so proud of all the Winter 2021 graduates! Here are few of their stories.

Hannah Blaske, Biology
A year on the softball team and four years of honors-winning choral experience enhanced her pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree that put her in a position apply to DPT programs.

Bernard Buhake, Sociology
During his time at SAU, Bernard Buhake - an NFL prospect and SAU senior - volunteered three years at Project Renewal, working with the children on everything from after-school homework to arts and crafts, and from games and sports to one-on-one reading or journal writing.

Rosa Dominguez, BBA
Rosa Dominguez was noticed, and deservingly so, by St. Ambrose professors who recognized something that she didn't recognize in herself until now: her worth and her strength.

Alyssa Duran, Elementary Education
Alyssa was the exception to societal norms while paving her own personalized path to success at SAU

Lara Paxton, MPH
While pursuing her degree in the midst of a pandemic, Lara Paxton identified multiple ways to apply her newly honed interest in a career in the health sciences – "a making-the-world-better kind of thing"– with her former high-flying passion for the circus.

Jordan Traynham, MPAS
Jordan will be the first SAU grad to enter residency at the Mayo Clinic whose Alix School of Medicine is home to several of the most highly regarded residency programs in the country.

Addy Nelson ’23 was born with an entrepreneur’s spirit. With her parents owning the bowling alley in her hometown of Gregory, South Dakota—the same place she perfected her game to earn a scholarship to St. Ambrose University—she learned early to be innovative, customer-focused and business-minded.
