The St. Ambrose University Library is honored to be a site for the State Historical Museum of Iowa for its traveling display of World War I veterans, the World War I Honor Roll.

On display from Jan. 28 through Mar. 4 in the library, the exhibit features thousands of names and photos collected by the museum and gathered from families who lost loved ones during the Great War.

This exhibit is a result of their initial call - made in 1920 after the war had ended - and the latest request in 2017, the 100-year anniversary. Last year the museum stepped up its efforts to find even more documentation from veterans and their families.
