Empowerment Through Technology

Have you ever had a crazy aspiration or something you dreamed of doing but never thought would actually happen?

That was me and giving a TED Talk.

I love talking about engineering and inspiring people to help others with their skills. I auditioned this past spring to give a talk at the first ever TEDx in Davenport, and was excited to learn I was selected!

While the preparation was a bit grueling (TED has lots of rules and expectations), it was the experience of a lifetime. Not only did I get to tell everyone about our Empowerment Through Technology program, but I also got to meet 13 other people from around the country who had amazing messages. I hope you will check it out!
