Director of Assessment
Mary Jo Bloominger MPAS, PA-C is the Director of Assessment for the St. Ambrose Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program.
Mary Jo has been a physician assistant since 1993 and has over 20 years of experience in primary care. She worked for Community Health Care, Inc. providing care for homeless individuals at 6 homeless shelters until 2003. While at CHC she was a participant in a National Collaborative to improve diabetes care sponsored by the Bureau of Primary Health Care. She was a speaker/faculty for the Bureau of Primary Health Care.
She most recently has been in private practice in family medicine with a focus on managing patients with diabetes. In addition, she has been a preceptor for PA and NP students for over 10 years.
