KALA 88.5 FM and SAUtv were honored for their work at the 2017 Iowa Broadcast News Association Convention and Awards Ceremony in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Saturday, April 21.
Community volunteers, students and staff were recognized for their contribution to Iowa journalism in 2017 by bringing home 12 awards, including five first-place honors.
