DPT Program Accredited for 10 More Years

03/22/2011

Last year, our professional Doctor of Physical TherapyDPT program underwent its Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accreditation review. This included an extensive self study, which involved collecting data about our curriculum, facilities and graduates, numerous faculty meetings, and reports addressing how the program met the criteria for Physical Therapist Education set forth by CAPTE.

In March, a three-member review team visited SAU to interact with our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and key university administrators.

In December, we received the very good news that our program's accreditation had been reaffirmed for another 10 years. As you can imagine, the faculty and staff were elated to hear this news.
