Where she is now: After earning an M.S. in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (December 2014), she is working as a development scientist at Integrated DNA Technologies in Coralville, Iowa.
For me, the small class sizes and relationships that I was able to develop with my classmates and professors allowed me to get more out of my education than I ever imagined. I learned concepts that students at larger universities aren't exposed to.
