St. Ambrose University has a history of offering educational opportunities to Defense Acquisition University students. This longstanding relationship with the Defense Acquisition University-and the Rock Island Arsenal-led to the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding May 6 by Vice President for Academic Affairs Paul Koch.
"The signing of this memorandum formalizes what has been in place for some time," he says. "This partnership is a win-win and we are very pleased to work closely with the Defense Acquisition University."
St. Ambrose provides academic advising services, evaluation of student transcripts, and development of an academic plan for students admitted to SAU for undergraduate degree completion.
Joint Points of Cooperation between St. Ambrose and DAU include collaboration and exchange of knowledge management systems and best business practices; relevant management tools, processes, and databases; training and curriculum development; e-Learning development activities; research; and learning-product development related to an acquisition application.
