The Rogalski Center was awash with orange shirts, enthusiastic students and palpable energy Saturday as more than 700 dancers joined SAU Dance Marathon 3.

Shortly before midnight, "The Big Reveal" showed the students' yearlong efforts helped exceed a challenging goal to raise $175,000 for The Children's Miracle Network and the University of Iowa Children's Hospitals.

Since its inception in 2012, St. Ambrose University Dance Marathon has raised more than $375,000 for the kids.
