This Fall St. Ambrose is happy to be welcoming our largest incoming class of international students in recent years. Twenty international students have selected St. Ambrose as their university for exchange, undergraduate and graduate programs.
Seven of our new students come from Saudi Arabia, four from Germany, two from India, two from Brazil and one from Northern Ireland, the UK, France, Haiti, and Tanzania. As with previous years, many are drawn to St. Ambrose for our Business, IT, and Engineering programs, with students enrolled in our DBA, MBA, M.Acc. and MSITM graduate programs, and our Industrial Engineering, Finance, and International Business undergraduate programs.
According to our Core Mission, Values, and Guiding Principles, "We believe in the inherent God-given dignity and worth of every person...We strive to develop an understanding of human cultures, achievements, capabilities, and limitations to promote justice and peace and use our talents in service to others and the world." One of the best ways to foster this understanding is through meaningful contact with students from other countries. The Center for International Education welcomes our new students to campus, and encourages our domestic and international students to engage with and learn from each other.
