Wellness and Recreation Center: Picture Perfect

Students have embraced the new Wellness and Recreation Center

The new weight and training facilities are in use from the time the Center opens in the morning until it closes each night. Attendance in Wellness and Recreation Department programming is at an all-time high. Athletes are making use of opportunities to train and practice on campus while staying focused on academics, while students in modern exercise science labs and classrooms are finding new ways to make their academic experiences better.

"I think a lot of people have been waiting a long time for a facility like this," noted Mike Johnson, a volunteer co-chair of the Building Our Future campaign. "To have something to show people is exciting."
