The Tuition Assistance (TA) program provides financial assistance for voluntary off-duty education programs in support of a Soldier's professional and personal self-development goals.
The Coast Guard currently provides tuition assistance to all uniformed personnel (regular and drilling reservists), civilian employees, and commissioned Public Health Service officers who are serving with the Coast Guard to fund off-duty courses related to the Coast Guard's missions or to the applicant's career and professional development.
The Marine Corps offers several programs to support your education goals including 100% Tuition Assistance for college courses taken during off-duty hours.
TA is available to both Naval Officer and Enlisted active duty personnel and Naval Reservists on continuous active duty. It is also available to enlisted Naval Reservists ordered to active duty 120 days and to Naval Reservist Officers ordered to active duty for 2 years or more.
If you'd like to take college courses while you're in the Army Reserve, the Reserves will help you pay for them. Available for approved courses, tuition assistance covers 100% of course costs up to $250 per credit hour.
State Tuition Assistance (Army and Air National Guard)
