What are the requirements for a master's program?

The following is required to apply for a master's degree admission to St. Ambrose University:

  • You must have completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a field related to your desired master's program.
  • Generally, a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is expected for undergraduate studies. Some programs might require a higher GPA or consider cumulative GPAs beyond the last 60 credits.
  • While not typically required for most master's programs, some specific offerings might necessitate GMAT, GRE, or other standardized test scores for evaluation. Check your chosen program's details for clarification.
  • Request official transcripts from all universities or colleges you attended to be sent directly to St. Ambrose. 
  • Provide a professional resume or curriculum vitae showcasing your academic achievements, work experience, and relevant skills. 
  • Typically, one or two letters of recommendation from professors, employers, or mentors familiar with your academic ability and potential are required.
