The St. Ambrose University Fighting Bees are united by academic and athletic excellence. With 31 varsity athletic sports and 191 NAIA scholar-athletes, you'll find your place in our supportive community of student athletes.
SAU is proud to host a variety of athletics teams, many of which are in the NAIA conference. Our teams regularly place at the top of their competitions and their class.

Students can find all of our athletic offerings, including esports, baseball, bowling, swimming, diving, and wrestling.
Scholarships are available for students who take part in the athletic program. For first year or transfer students, these scholarships are awarded at the discretion of SAU coaching staff. Our athletic scholarships are renewal each year for four years and remain in effect despite any physical hardship during participation in the sport.

We have dedicated spaces for group fitness, cheer and dance team practice. As well as a 200-meter, six-lane competition track, pole vault, long and triple jump areas.
