Available counseling services

The Counseling Center offers confidential counseling sessions in-person and online to individuals. Take advantage of our one on one services, workshops, and access referrals to the community. Initial appointments may be booked within 1-2 days.

Short-term individual counseling

Brief, strengths-based individual counseling sessions as often as every 2 to 3 weeks during the semester. Sessions are typically in-person, but we can accommodate tele-health sessions.
Outreach and prevention activities

Training on suicide prevention, workshops on academic stress, and tailored group workshops
Counseling Center referral services

Help locating local providers for specialty services and assistance in connecting with community resources such as medication management

Individual Counseling Sessions

We are able to provide students sessions every 2 to 3 weeks during the semester using a brief therapy model. They are held in the counselor's office, one-on-one working on the goals we set in our assessment session at the beginning.
