About Ambrosians for Peace and Justice

Founded in Catholic Social Teaching, Ambrosians for Peace and Justice (also known as APJ) is an inclusive student-led club, which offers weekly fellowship, along with opportunities for students to develop as leaders. Each member works to identify what cause they are passionate about and plan events to make a difference through advocacy, service and education on campus and in our community.

What we do

Members of APJ help to plan Campus Ministry Spring Break Service Trips and Service Saturday opportunities for campus ministry. Members of APJ are also given the opportunity to serve at the Pacem in Terris Peace & Freedom Award Ceremony. In recent years, members of APJ have planned events to raise awareness of human trafficking, the refugee crisis, invisible disabilities and stereotypes. They have helped out with the Project Renewal fit fest, giving tree, and Halloween party, while also supporting other organizations such as King’s Harvest Pet Shelter, Clothing Center at Minnie’s Maison, and Humble Dwellings through service projects.
