How has St. Ambrose impacted your life?
St. Ambrose has impacted so much of my life. I got married to a fellow Ambrosian in the chapel, my daughter was baptized at SAU, and many of my best friends went to SAU. St. Ambrose not only readied me for my career as a physical therapist, but it helped me grow socially, spiritually, and emotionally as well.

How has St. Ambrose impacted your life?
St. Ambrose impacted my life in ways that I continue to think about and discover each day. It brought long lasting friendships, amazing leadership opportunities, taught me how to be flexible, giving, compassionate about my community, and ways to support and give back. These are all reasons why I serve on the Alumni Association Board. I love to talk about St. Ambrose, my experience there, and I share it weekly, if not daily, with family, friends, co-workers and anyone who will listen. Go Bees!

How has St. Ambrose impacted your life?
SAU was my first real introduction to a wide variety of diversity. Without the degrees I've obtained from SAU, I would not have the career opportunities I've had. Finally, I've found many friends/connections with similar interests and personalities from all over; we've developed lifelong friendships and I owe that to my time at St. Ambrose!

How has St. Ambrose impacted your life? St. Ambrose gave me my first dose of independence while providing me with the security of a loving faculty and administration. The friends I made there gave me a home for the first time I was away from my family's nest. I gained confidence there to try new clubs, make new friends, and eventually launch into the real world.
Why do you serve as an Alumni Board member? I'm so proud of being an SAU alum and I want to spread the good news of all the school continues to do.

Why do you serve as an Alumni Board Member? Up until 12 years ago, I didn't even know there was an Alumni Association or board. That year, the Alumni Engagement Office put together the first SAU RAGBRAI team. After riding with the team for a couple of years, I decided that by being on the board I could help spread the word about the Alumni Association and in a small way give back to the university.

How has St. Ambrose impacted your life? I was able to begin to become an adult at SAU. I felt comfortable there. The relationships that I built for many of the friends that I still enjoy today were initially formed while I attended SAU as an undergrad.
Why do you serve as an Alumni Board member? It is now time for me to give back to the University that provided me with so much.

How has St. Ambrose impacted your life? St. Ambrose has impacted so much of my life. It was the best times of my formative years making life long friends. I had the opportunity to continue my athletic career by playing both golf and softball. I was a part the Ambrosians for Peace and Justice spending many hours in Christ the King chapel attending mass and deepening my faith. St. Ambrose not only readied me for my career but it helped me emotionally and spiritually. I was able to share my love for St. Ambrose with two of my nieces that attended and graduated from St. Ambrose.

How has St. Ambrose impacted your life? St. Ambrose has always been a part of my life, even before I was a student, I was dressed as a tiny bee attending homecoming with my parents and their alumni classmates. Words can't describe how grateful I am for my experiences and opportunities as a student at SAU and now as an alum. Beyond a career that I love, I have a group of life long friends I will always cherish, and continue to find connections to others who have the same values as I do in service, justice, and positive change. Go bees!

How has St. Ambrose impacted your life? St. Ambrose was my family away from home for four years. Just like a traditional family, I care about the current and long-term success of the university. If I can offer assistance in shaping what that means, or executing our mission, I will step up and help! The Alumni Association is a perfect vehicle to keep dedicated family members (alumni) informed, engaged, and spreading family love!

How has St. Ambrose impacted your life? St. Ambrose has impacted my life in more ways than I imagined. St. Ambrose brought out my zest for life-long learning, taught me to observe yet think critically, to never be afraid to set goals and truly reach for them, and to always remain compassionate. St. Ambrose has played a huge role in shaping who I am today as a person, and as a veterinarian and for that I will forever be grateful.
Why do you serve as an Alumni Board member? I am just as excited today about St. Ambrose as I was when I was a student. I want to share my passion for St. Ambrose with others, and give back to the university that has given me so much.
